iPHONE 5 SPINS BY ITSELF with CYCLORAMIC APP PANORAMIC VIDEO REVIEW

This blog today is about the new Cycloramic App in the Apple App Store that makes the Iphone 5 spin around on its own using the Vibrate function.  By setting it on a smooth surface, it will spin around and take a Panoramic video. A great App to use at the table and get a shot of everyone there! Cycloramic says soon that they will include Panoramic pictures too. Check it out!

Just when you think that nobody could possibly have another fresh idea for a phone app, Cycloramic ($1) makes 360-degree panoramic videos — without a tripod or swivel.

You stand the phone upright and tap the Go button. Incredibly, the phone, balancing on its end, begins to rotate itself. Freakiest darned thing you ever saw. Great for winning bar bets or establishing new religions.

If you’ve ever seen a phone scoot itself along a table when it is in buzz mode, you get the principle. The app triggers the phone’s vibration module at exactly the right frequencies to make the phone turn on the table. The phone’s sensors figure out how far it’s rotated.

It works only on shiny surfaces like glass, polished granite or laminated wood (like desks), and only the iPhone 5 has exactly the right balance. It’s a jaw-dropper.

GATLINBURG TENNESSEE CHRISTMAS TRIP to the GREAT SMOKY MOUNTAINS HIGHLIGHT

Trip to Gatlinburg, Tennessee. It was fun going to the Great Smoky Mountains of TN! Had lots of fun and there is lots to do! You can go sightseeing, climb mountains, play in rivers, go hiking, backpacking, watch wildlife, play arcade games, ski, snowboard, tube, ride chairlifts and way more. Lots of fun to be had in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.

The Gatlinburg Christmas Parade was great too! There were tons and tons of people there. If you want a spot to see it, you better put out your folding chair the night before the parade. Basically 24 hours before! Hope you enjoy the quick video!

Remove CD from PLAYSTATION 3 without taking apart

So, I had my first heart attack of my life today.....I find out that my Playstation 3 is making noise and a weird whirring sound. Usually whirring sounds are never good no matter what machine, tool, equipment or electronic device is doing it.  I decide that my 2 almost 3 year old has maybe stuck more than 1 dvd disc into it. I get a tip off since there are 2-3 dvds missing from the cases and are nowhere to be found.  Now I am mad and sad at the same time. I am remembering the good old days of being able to use my original 60GB Launch Playstation 3 in any way I wanted to and not have any problems. I am thinking that even if I get the DVD's out that the Blu Ray player drive will be broken and not work anymore.

So I look on youtube on how to take the PS3 apart and get those discs out of there. But soon find out that that might not be an option.  I finally find a forum that gives me the answer! I try the solution and wall! It works and I am able to remove the discs with no damage to the system or to the discs. There are light scratchs on the DVD's but they still work.

If this happens to you, just tip the PS3 on its nose or the front where the drive bay is. Just put the PS3 on the edge of a table or entertainment center. With the power on, play with the eject button and or power button to see if any discs will pop out and have a tweezer ready in case you need to squeeze them quick.

I didn't have to use the tweezer, but when I hit the eject button, 2 discs popped out back to back and then it sounded like another. Yep, 1 more disc was in there. The original dvd that was in there 1 day ago. So my almost 3 year old wanted to watch a mashup of Toy Story, Cars, and Cars 2 all at the same time.  He was confused as to why they didn't play when he put them in! This is all while he is standing on a chair he took from the kitchen to reach up on the entertainment center to reach the PS3 game system.

So now I have the Playstation 3 sitting on a shelf even higher and I didn't have to modify any cords in the process.  So hopefully this helps you like it did me and you won't have perform major surgery! Oh ya and you can still play Call of Duty like the old days too!

JASON GROSS #12 MODIFIED DIRT RACING HIGHLIGHTS GR MOTORSPORTS

Hey everyone, Here is a great video of my friend Jason Gross. He has been driving forever and has lots of race experience.  His whole family is in to racing and they all know how to both drive and fix their cars, or whatever they maybe be driving at that time of the year. This is a highlight of Jason Gross #12 car who drives for GR Motorsports.  Jason races the Modified Class at both Cedar Lake and Rice Lake Speedways. Both tracks are Dirt Track ovals.  He also travels to Florida to race at Volusia Speedway, which is home of the UNOH DirtCar Nationals.  A driver with many years of experience and always at the top of the list in points.  If you want to learn more about GR Motorsports, visit the Facebook Page under GR Motorsports.
