Wow, what a day, what a day! Me and the fan went to the Greenville Zoo today and it was hot. Now I am wondering why we decided to go at 11am instead of at 9am when the opened... Anyway it was up to 94 degrees as we left I think and then later got up to about 98 later in the afternoon. But taking pictures and chasing a 2 year old around is quite a workout in itself, especially in this particular zoo's terrain it was built on.  Saw lots of cool animals and got some good pics!

So anyway I got the idea while there to make sure everyone knows that staying hydrated while walking around this summer is very important! Let alone exercising in the heat. It is essential to make sure lots of water is sent to your working muscles so that you are not fatigued during summer entertainment or summer workout times.

Also during the summer make sure are def drinking more water than coffee, energy drinks, and sodas since they all have caffeine in them which will dehydrate you and make you perform less efficiently during workouts and other.

I say all this because at the Zoo I saw tons of people at the concession stand ordering and drinking sodas and no one was drinking water or taking advantage of the free water at the "Lion Mouth water Fountain"  So make sure you are not one of these people this summer....

Later.
